Sir Konstantin Sergeevich Novoselov earned the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2010 for his work with graphene. This year he has been collaborating with artist Cornelia Parker at the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester.
Here he speaks to Mary Anne Hobbs about why art and science need to feed off each other, and delivers a pep talk to the city of Manchester.
