The outgoing Artistic Director for Manchester International Festival gives programming advice to budding festival organisers. For a decade Alex has put together some of the most radical artistic bills in the world for MIF, programming the likes of Kanye West, Leonard Cohen, The xx, Arvo P盲rt, Abida Parveen, Marina Abramovic, Robert Wilson, Douglas Gordon and Olafur Eliasson.
