Winning the Grand National
Steeple chase jockey Bob Champion was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March 1979. He was 31.
He was told he might only have a few months to live but what kept him going was the dream of winning the Grand National.
He went on to win the event on the racehorse Aldaniti in 1981.
