Italy's Blackshirts
Renzo Lodoli was only 23 in 1935 when he went to Ethiopia with the Italian army. Part of his uniform was the black shirt, synonymous with the fascist regime of Mussolini. He tells how it came to be an important political symbol for the fascists.
