He Named Me Malala
Davis Guggenheim has directed a documentary about arguably one of the most important young women of this generation. Malala Yousafzai is the 18 year old Pakistani who was shot by the Taliban on her way to school. She survived the attack and came to the UK with her family to rebuild her life following life saving treatment. The Nobel Prize winner's story captured the imaginations of people everywhere, and now her story is being told in a unique new documentary by the American film maker. 'He Named Me Malala' features at this year's BFI London Film Festival and the director behind the documentary talks to Nihal.
