Is The Sun's headline a wake up call for British Muslims or irresponsible journalism?
In huge, bold letters the front page of The Sun carries the headline: "One in five Brit Muslims sympathy for jihadis". A smaller column has the headline "wake up call after Paris blitz". A survey conducted for the paper put questions to 1003 British Muslims aged over 18 asking questions such as "how do you feel about young muslims who leave the UK to join fighters in Syria?". It's upset a lot of Muslims on social media who complain that the paper is simply fear mongering. There are also questions over what is meant by 'sympathy' and whether the word 'jihad' in this context is simply too ambiguous. Listen to the caller reaction.
