A leading plus size model has attacked the culture of so called body shaming within the Asian community. Award winning model Bishamber Das says criticising women and girls for their body shape can have a devastating impact. The 28 year old says Asian women are still judged by how thin and fair skinned they are. She hopes to use her success to encourage larger girls to have a healthier body image.
