Winnie at 100
It鈥檚 no exaggeration to say that the story of Winnie Blagden touched the world. Six million people from across the globe reacted when 成人论坛 Radio Sheffield posted her story on our Facebook site. She was a listener coming up to her 100th birthday but with all her family and friends long gone. We asked people to send her a card and the response was staggering.
More than 16,000 cards poured into our building, there were hundreds of gifts and Winnie鈥檚 story went viral. It seemed everyone wanted to wish Winnie Happy Birthday an incredible woman whose story touched millions. Sadly Winnie passed away in October 2015.
