A have-a-go hero who tackled a robber wielding an imitation firearm has told how he intervened in the fracas.

Darren Baker was alerted to the robbery by his wife, who was in the store, but did not hesitate to race into the shop in Norwich to overpower the robber.

Mr Baker's bravery was captured on CCTV, and he was praised by a judge at Norwich Crown Court.
Stephen Lawrence, 54, was jailed for 11 years for attempted robbery at the store in Drayton Road.
