Backlash over "sex grooming town" headline
The Times' published the headline "Imam beaten to death in sex grooming town" in regards to the death of Jalal Uddin. It has since changed its online headline. Ian Hopkins, chief constable of Greater Manchester Police, decided to write an open letter against this labelling of Rochdale, describing it as "offensive" and having "no relevance" to the murder.
