‘It touched the hearts of so many people’
Following the murder of a Japanese woman at carnival in Trinidad and Tobago, the mayor of Port of Spain said “women have a responsibility to ensure they are not abused during the Carnival season.”
Thousands of people signed an online petition calling for his resignation.
