Flying Scotsman leaves King's Cross
One of the world's most famous locomotives has set off on its official return to the tracks.
The Flying Scotsman is making the journey from London King's Cross to York, where it will go on display at the National Railway Museum (NRM).
成人论坛 Radio Cambridgeshire's Julia Greenaway watched it depart from King's Cross as scheduled at 07:40, where it is heading up the East Coast mainline through Stevenage and Peterborough on a non-stop run.
NRM and Network Rail have urged fans to view the locomotive "from a safe vantage point".
In a joint statement, they said: "In order to avoid overcrowding we are not publishing recommended viewing points or the timetable of when the train will be passing through specific locations."
