'We offer an alternative to inadequate public transport'
The rise of the smartphone has changed the way some people travel around India鈥檚 cities, especially with the emergence of taxi firms like Uber and local equivalents Ola and Meru.
And throughout 2015, the car sharing business - connecting people driving their own car with potential passengers who want a ride - has slowly begun to take off too.
These businesses include BlaBlaCar, founded in France but now in about 20 countries. It specialises in carpooling for long distance travel between cities.
The 成人论坛's Shilpa Kannan caught up with the firm's India manager Raghav Gupta and asked what made India a good potential market.
