Bournemouth school girl hits the right note for AFC Bournemouth
Eleven year old Mia Wheatley from Malmesbury Park Primary School in Bournemouth has won a song-writing competition to create ‘A Chant for the Cherries’.
Children were invited to write a football song to spur on AFC Bournemouth in their premiership ambitions. Mia Wheatley's entry ‘Come on Bournemouth!’ was performed by 250 of the region’s schoolchildren as part of the AC Academy Gala at Lighthouse, Poole's centre for the Arts.
³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Solent's reporter Neil Sackley met Mia at the final rehearsal for the concert.
