Should the Koh-I-Noor diamond be returned?
The Indian government has said that the 105 carat diamond that's part of the Crown Jewels wasn't forcibly taken from India, but that it was gifted to Britain. The comments were made at a hearing in India's supreme court after an NGO filed a petition to have the diamond brought back to India. Some Indians believe though that the diamond was stolen from their homeland during the country's colonial past and it should be returned.
