Do Asians take allergies seriously?
A restaurant owner was jailed for six years for the manslaughter of a customer who had an allergic reaction to a curry. Paul Wilson suffered a severe anaphylactic shock after eating a take away containing peanuts from the Indian Garden in Easingwold, North Yorkshire. The owner of the restaurant, Mohammed Zaman, denied he was responsible but a jury was told he switched almond powder for a cheaper ground nut mix, which contained peanuts. So do Asians often dismiss allergies and the impacts it could have on someone's life?
