Guide dogs in places of worship
In February Nihal presented a phone-in about a story we covered on the Asian Network, it was about Amit Patel who's registered blind but was told he would not be allowed to take his guide dog inside the Sri Swaminaryan temple in North West London, at the time we said we would revisit this issue and here we are. On the panel that day we spoke to Amit Patel and Dave Kent from Guide Dogs For The Blind Association. They came back on to the show to tell us progress has been made but guide dogs will still not be allowed inside the temple. They spoke to callers Shujah and Ritesh, who is a volunteer at the temple in Neasden.
