Is it accurate for a Bollywood film to depict the Punjab as a state with a drug problem?
Anurag Kashyap's new film 'Udta Punjab' looks at crime and drug problems in the Punjab. But the country's censor board has taken issue with a number of scenes in the film - asking for 89 cuts. It includes demands for a number of state city names to be taken out as well as references to punjab. The state's ruling party, the Shiromani Akali Dal, says the film tarnishes the image of the state and its people. They in turn have been accused of placing undue pressure on the censor board. Two callers share their views with Nihal.
