Are religious leaders doing enough to combat homophobia?
At least fifty people have been killed after Omar Mateen opened fire at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. It's been reported that Mateen called emergency services before the attack and pledged allegiance to the so-called Islamic State. His father Mir Seddique has been quoted as saying the incident had nothing to do with religion, but may have been triggered by the sight of a gay couple kissing in Miami.
