Would you have an issue with being called coloured?
Labour MP Wayne David has apologised after saying the only people in his town with "coloured skin" ran takeaways. The Caerphilly MP made the comments in a ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Wales programme during a discussion on the vote to leave the European Union. He's since gone onto twitter to say "ethnic minorities play a vitally important role in our society". Are you surprised that an experienced MP would use that type of language? Or is this simply a throw back to language which was, until fairly recently, quite acceptable? Callers Tariq and Shilpa share their views with Nihal.
