Mohammad Khan, with Age UK Camden, has been a 'befriender' for the last five years. He meets elderly people who are often lonely and isolated. Now he's been nominated for a national award for his efforts. Do you find voluntary work appealing? Would you visit an older person who lives alone to brighten up their day with a friendly chat?
