Proposals to redevelop one of Rutland's historic markets have prompted a row in the town of Uppingham.

The scheme would see the market place resurfaced, and a new seating area created for nearby cafes and food stalls. You might remember that this was one of the stories that you told us you were concerned about when we were in Uppingham during our week long tour of the two counties. Well now more than 500 people have now signed a petition opposing the plans.
