Connected Histories: Muslims in the First World War
Commemorations of the First World War began in 2014 but has there been enough on the contribution of Muslim soldiers?
A new project is highlighting the contributions of Muslims in World War One - 430,000 served as part of the British Indian army.
Some of their stories have been brought together for the first time. In this extract ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳'S Ruchi Tandon speaks to descendants and explores the relevance of these accounts today...
