This week`s Rock n Roll Party, includes a special tribute to guitarist Tommy Allsup. Tommy was a key figure in the Buddy Holly story, playing on many of his hits, including the classic `Heartbeat`. He was also in Buddy`s band for his final tour, which ended on `The Day The Music Died`.
From exclusive interviews Geoff recorded with him, Tommy tells his own story, including how he flipped a coin with Ritchie Valens to decide who would get on the plane with Buddy. Tommy won the flip and went on to enjoy over 50 years as a working musician, passing away just last week.
