Howard Hughes launched the radio station on the 21st January 1992.

Andrew Peach reminisced with Howard on the breakfast show, including playing 成人论坛 Radio Berkshire's first ever moments on air.

The station started life as a sister station to nearby 成人论坛 Radio Oxford, broadcasting for part of the weekday and on weekday mornings.

成人论坛 Radio Berkshire is currently based at Caversham Park, the building is also home to 成人论坛 Monitoring.
