At the time of writing:

Four people had died after what police are treating as a terrorist attack at Westminster.

One was a police officer who was stabbed in the grounds of the Houses of Parliament.

His assailant was shot by armed officers, and he too has died.

Just moments before, the attacker drove a car into several people on nearby Westminster Bridge.

Two of them - one a woman - were killed.

At least 20 people had been injured.

Business in the Houses of Parliament was suspended for the day.
