I raced 4,800 kilometres - on a handcycle
Andre Kajlich was on a night out when he got hit by a subway train. He lost his left leg at the hip and his right leg above the knee.
Nearly 15 years later, Kajlich is a world-class paratriathlete and ultraendurance wheelchair racer and he's just completed the 4,800 kilometer, Race Across America in 12 days and 16 hours. Only 14 out of 39 competitors finished the race. Riding across a country is not easy but imagine doing it with your hands, rather than your legs.
