Venezuela descending into 'chaos'
Millions of Venezuelans have heeded opposition calls to stay at home in the country's first twenty-four-hour general strike which started on Thursday. In several cities police used tear gas as they clashed with protesters. At least three demonstrators were killed in the violence. Carlos Camacho -- a journalist with the Latin American Herald Tribune newspaper in Caracas -- described what he had seen.
