Could solar power plug Africa's electricity shortage?
The French gas company Engie has bought Fenix, a provider of solar panels to communities in Uganda and Zambia, a move that highlights the growing market in off grid electricity in Africa.
The Chief Executive of Engie Africa, Bruno Bensasson, tells the 成人论坛's Russell Padmore about the economic advantages of bringing power to 600 million people in rural areas, who may never get connected to the grid.
