What makes Rwanda 'the best country to be a woman'?

Twenty-three years after an estimated 800,000 people were killed in catastrophic genocide, the country now stands at 5th in the world when it comes to progress made in establishing gender equality. These rights are enshrined in the Rwandan constitution. 'I think it is a pleasure to be a woman in Rwanda' - Rose Rwabuhihi, Chief Gender Monitor, explains why she thinks this and how new land laws have encouraged this equality.
