成人论坛 Minute: On China's first space station

China launched its first space station, Tiangong-1, in 2011. On Monday 2nd April, it landed in the Pacific Ocean after re-entering the Earth's atmosphere. China lost control of the vessel in 2016.

Physics and Astronomy Professor Dan Reisenfeld from the University of Montana says such re-entries are common, and pose virtually no threat to humans. China hopes to launch its first manned space station in 2022.
