How is Uber doing in Africa?
The ride-hailing app Uber has been welcomed in many African cities by consumers, shunned in others by regulators and attacked by traditional taxi firms cabs in some instances.
The company has been in Africa for almost five years and while the growth in some of its eight markets on the continent has been huge, it has faced much competition from local operators. So, now it has settled into many markets in Africa, how is it faring?
The 成人论坛's Lerato Mbele sat down with Alon Lits, the head of Uber in Sub-Saharan Africa, and asked him just that.
