It was an explosive grand slam final between Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka on Sunday at the US Open. Serena Williams was fined for code violations, she got a penalty point and was docked a game for calling the umpire - Carlos Ramos - a "thief" and a "liar".

The American said it was "sexist" to have been penalised a game.

The chief executive of the Women's Tennis Association and the president of the United States Tennis Association - which organises the US Open - agree with her.
