5G: The Nightmare Scenario
5G will allow us to connect everything from driver less cars, hospital monitors, sensors in factories even down to our refrigerators to send and receive vast amounts of data. Some think this will revolutionise the economy. But with this new opportunity comes vulnerabilities and threats, according to Jan Peter Kleinhans, Director of IT security for the ‘Internet of Things’ project at the German think tank SNV.
