Extinction Rebellion: 'We can't see any other option'
Extinction Rebellion has begun protests in London with hopes of forcing the government to take action on climate change. The demonstrators are mounting a fortnight of direct action in cities around the world. More than 300 protestors from Scotland are expected to travel to take part in the action in London over the next two weeks.
The group says it has set up camp at 11 different sites in the capital – but what spurs them on, and how far are they prepared to go? The Nine’s Hope Webb joined one group on the first day of action.
