Reading FC: Baldock delighted with chance to settle 'unfinished business'
Royals striker Sam Baldock scored on his return to the starting line-up against QPR.
It was after former boss Jose Gomes had made it clear to Baldock that he wasn't part of his first team plans.
"I had a contract that I wanted to honour," Baldock told 成人论坛 Radio Berkshire's Tim Dellor. "I felt that I had unfinished business.
"No-one likes to see anyone lose their job...I'm sure [Gomes will] get another job soon, and I wish him all the best in that one.
"I'm not here to make up the numbers, I'm here to get in the team, stay in the team and contribute."
