Skeleton Wumman

A newly performed extract from the play Skeleton Wumman, written and directed by Gerda Stevenson and performed by original star Amy Conachan.

The Skeleton Wummin rests at the bottom of the cold sea, withering away in the passing tides and dreaming of life above the waves, in this vivid and poetically eerie Scots-language fable.

Scenes for Survival is a National Theatre of Scotland project in association with ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Scotland, Screen Scotland, ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Arts’ Culture in Quarantine project and Scotland’s leading theatre venues and companies, with support from Hopscotch Films.
