'Fake accounts used my pictures to sell sex'
Instagram removes millions of fake profiles from its app each day. Some of those accounts are created solely to promote scams involving online sex work - or rather the promise of it.
The profiles may be taken down quickly, but the damage they cause is lasting.
The Nine's Tamsin Selbie has been speaking to Nicole and Heather, two young women who had their identities exploited in one of these fake sex scams.
Produced by Jonathan Peters.
