Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk space dispute
Two billionaire investors have been swapping insults on social media in a way that is unseemly for the leaders of two global corporate empires. Elon Musk, founder of the electric car maker Tesla and Jeff Bezos, who created the e-commerce giant Amazon, are at odds over investment in a space craft to land on the moon. Mr Bezos, who founded Blue Origin, is complaining about NASA issuing a contract to SpaceX, which is backed by Mr Musk. Their rivalry echoes the 1960's space race between the United States and Russia, long before the modern trend of private companies funding space travel, as Russell Padmore reports.
