Jamie Raskin: We鈥檙e in a struggle for US democracy
On 6 January 2021 - the day after his son鈥檚 funeral - Democrat Congressman Jamie Raskin was in Congress with his daughter and son-in-law for the certification of electoral college votes.
The US Capitol was attacked by a mob of people on that day - prompting the second impeachment of President Trump managed by Congressman Raskin. He now sits on the committee investigating the events of the 6 January 2021.
He told Stephen Sackur on 成人论坛 Hardtalk he is fighting against despots and authoritarians.
