The co-main event sees Birmingham鈥檚 Fabian Edwards return to the cage to face 43-year-old veteran Lyoto Machida in the middleweight division. Edwards is one of the most promising European fighters on the Bellator roster and won his first eight professional bouts before losing back-to-back decisions to Costello van Steenis and Austin Vanderford in his most recent appearances. After picking up wins over Rafael Carvalho and Chael Sonnen to kick off his Bellator tenure, MMA legend Machida has dropped three straight fights to Gegard Mousasi, Phil Davis, and, most recently, Ryan Bader in the Bellator light heavyweight grand prix last April.
