The Spanish town with Japanese fans
Where better to watch the World Cup match between Spain and Japan than the Spanish town of Coria del R铆o where 700 residents have the surname "Jap贸n", which translates to "Japan"?
It's believed that they are the descendants of six samurai who stayed in the town after arriving in the 17th century. The connection between the two countries is still very much alive today where the town's football team, Coria CF, has had many players with that surname. Stefano Montali reports
