Jane Horrocks: #MeToo 鈥渉as made a massive difference"
Actress Jane Horrocks tells Stephen Sackur that when the #MeToo movement first started it seemed 鈥渢oo much鈥�, adding 鈥渋t was absolutely right that it was too much.鈥�
She says, 鈥淲hen the Me Too movement did happen it seemed a bit extreme for possibly people of my generation of actors because we had put up with it for so long. But then thinking about it 鈥� gosh this is really relevant.鈥�
Describing the campaign as 鈥渟uch a brilliant thing that has happened鈥�, she explains the impact on working conditions for actors saying 鈥渋f anything like that happens it鈥檚 not covered up, you can speak openly about things, and that鈥檚 made a massive difference.鈥�
