Jen鈥檚 hip injury puts her debut performance in doubt, and rehearsals for the most important performance of the year grind to a halt as Janet has a meltdown.
The dancers of Paris鈥檚 most famous cabaret club start rehearsals for their big performance on French TV鈥檚 popular New Year鈥檚 Eve show, La grande soir茅e. Watched by millions, it could mean a boost for bookings. But they only have five days to come up with three new dance routines, and Janet is struggling to come up with some of the choreography. After announcing that she can鈥檛 do it, she retreats to her office, leaving her bewildered dancers with nothing to learn.
One problem that can鈥檛 be fixed quite so quickly is new dancer Jen鈥檚 hip injury, which could prevent her making her stage debut. For now, rehearsals must go on, and Jen and her fellow newbie, Erin, are delighted to have finally earned the privilege of stepping into the iconic red, white and blue can-can costumes.
