Israeli survivor: 'It's a real holocaust what happened'
It was a week ago today that Hamas launched its unprecedented attack on Israel. Hundreds were killed, prompting Israel to launch air strikes on Gaza, killing hundreds of Palestinians.
Last Saturday, Jehan Berman spent more than 30 terrified hours in a shelter with his family in the Israeli village of Avshalom, as they came first under rocket fire, and then heard that the border fence had been breached. Worse was to come when he had to tell his children that their grandmother, and her partner, who lived in Kibbutz Nir Oz, right next to Gaza, had been killed. Jehan told his story to to Newshour's Tim Franks.
