In Broadway, a man trapped himself in a lorry, residents shouted at utility workers and police were called to keep the peace.

In Broadway, a man trapped himself in a lorry, residents shouted at utility workers and police were called to keep the peace. People in the village are 'up in arms' over plans to install 22 telegraph poles in their neighbourhood, saying they look "monstrous".

One resident climbed onto a lorry containing the poles and staged a four-and-a-half hour protest, before he agreed to climb out and was taken away in an ambulance.

Our reporter Tom Edwards went to The Sands estate in Broadway to see the commotion.

Full Fibre told 成人论坛 Hereford & Worcester: "We have worked hard to respond to all concerns from the residents of Broadway, and to highlight the importance of this building work going ahead. We are a business that is working to upgrade the UK鈥檚 infrastructure to future-proof the UK鈥檚 towns and villages. However, we are aware that these changes can bring a level of disruption, and we continually strive to minimise any impact as much as possible. This includes working with communities to reduce their frustrations and understand the importance of the work we are doing."
