Live after Death

It鈥檚 summer 2003, and a young guitarist struggles with his anxiety before a gig. As strange events occur, the band must learn to support each other to play the gig of their lives.

It鈥檚 the summer of 2003, and teenage rock band Gelert are on their way to perform at a village hall in rural Wales. For guitarist Taran, being a musician is core to his identity and mental health. Writing songs and striking power chords is how he channels his crippling anxiety. However, these days, even performing has lost its positive effect on him. Try as they might, most of his bandmates don鈥檛 grasp the toll that his anxiety has on him, and so Taran withdraws deeper into himself, refusing to engage in any support offered to him by keyboardist Annie.

Tensions rise as they discover that there is more to this village hall than they first thought. As the band set up, Taran increasingly isolates himself from them after an unsettling encounter that pushes him beyond his breaking point. The five teenagers must regain their confidence and support each other if they want the night to be a success. The decades of history trapped within the hall鈥檚 walls may be the key to bringing the band back to life.
