Rachel Daly on leaving the Lionesses: 'When you know, you know'

Lionesses superstar Rachel Daly has retired from international football.

Speaking to 5 Live Breakfast, she said it was "the right time".

Rachel said although she believes her strengths are "higher up on the pitch" than the positions she played under Sarina Wiegman, she would have played anywhere for her national team.

"She had her thoughts and I had my thoughts. We came up with a plan and it was what the team needed at that time." she told Rick Edwards.
