Loweswater trees please!
Workington businesswomen Sally Philips snaps up land to plant saplings to restore Lakeland habitat. To date she's planted 275,000 trees, and as funds allow she plans to put in another 100,000. Low Fell is in the Western Lake District, in the Lorton Valley, and three years ago she bought it for 拢148,000.
