Carlisle's big bird
Solway Aviation Museum have bagged the last Blackburn Beverley aircraft in the world, used by the RAF in the 50s as a flying barge. Now being dismantled by enthusiasts it will be brought over from Hull in pieces - the smallest of which is six tons. It's the biggest construction kit they've ever had to put together and they're modelling at a scale of 12 inches to the foot!
